The competition brings together four “Dream Teams,” comprised of six specialists in their field. Each team member is equipped with the skills needed to create a complete hotel-of-the-future concept. Each team includes an:
Architect – leads the overall building concept and spatial vision
Interior Designer – shapes the guest experience and interior atmosphere
Operations Specialist – maps real-world hotel workflows and automation points
Technical Specialist – develops AI, software, and robotics systems
Rendering Specialist – builds 3D models, environments, and animated walkthroughs
Film Specialist – documents the process and produces the team’s final presentation video
Together, these six roles form a fully capable studio able to imagine, design, simulate, and visually communicate a complete AI-powered hotel concept.

The entire show takes place inside one large, open design studio where all four teams work side by side. Each team is assigned its own dedicated zone within the studio, giving them room for their desks, equipment, and a full set of display monitors where they can review design progress, test ideas, and share updates with the cameras. These team areas function as compact creative studios, allowing participants to collaborate, build, plan, and refine their hotel concepts throughout the competition.
At the center of the design studio is a fully equipped presentation stage that serves as the main gathering point for major moments in the show. This area includes large projection screens, high-quality audio, and the ability to showcase short films, animated walk-throughs, technical diagrams, and other visual materials created by the teams. It is where announcements are made, design milestones are reviewed, and final concepts are presented to judges and the audience. The shared space keeps all activity visible and creates an environment where progress, pressure, and creativity unfold in real time.

Applying technology to hotels
Each week, the teams take on a new design challenge focused on a different part of the AI-powered hotel. These challenges guide the flow of the show and highlight key elements of next-generation hospitality. Weekly challenges will include aspects of the hotel, such as:
Guest Check-In & Digital Hospitality – designing seamless arrival, identity, and on-boarding experiences
Room Automation & Smart Environments – creating intelligent, adaptive guest rooms powered by AI
Service Robotics Integration – mapping how robots support valet, delivery, housekeeping, or concierge roles
Back-of-House Operations – optimizing staff workflows, logistics, and automated support systems
On-Site Mobility & Valet Flow – designing how vehicles, guests, and service systems move through the property
Sustainability & Energy Systems – integrating advanced environmental technologies and resource-efficient design
Guest Experience & Journey Design – crafting personalized, immersive touch-points throughout the stay
At the end of each challenge, teams present their work on the central stage for review, and a weekly winner is selected. The top team receives a special reward, such as a resort package or stay from one of our sponsoring hotels, adding excitement, momentum, and meaningful stakes as the season progresses.

Each season finale is a live award event where the teams debut their fully developed AI Hotel concepts to an audience of industry leaders, technology partners, and sponsoring hotel brands. This event brings together the same companies and experts featured throughout the competition, AI partners, robotics developers, automation firms, and hotel tech innovators, creating a shared space where the ideas from the show meet the tools shaping modern hospitality.
During the award event, partners deliver keynotes and take part in panel discussions that explore the future of hotel operations, service robotics, digital guest systems, and the emerging technologies that make intelligent hotels possible. The teams then premiere their final short films and present their integrated hotel concepts on stage, leading into the announcement of the season’s winning Dream Team.
The award event serves as both the finale of the show and a real-world education platform for hotel owners, operators, designers, and developers. By connecting industry insight directly to the competition’s final presentations, the event creates a meaningful bridge between vision and implementation, showing how the ideas developed throughout the season can translate into future-ready properties.
